Lou Roushey is the founder and lead artist of Modern Ink Tattoo Studio, Wilmington’s newest home for custom, high-end tattoo artistry. After years of working everyday jobs, Lou discovered tattooing—and it instantly became his calling. Seven years later, that passion turned into a studio built from the ground up.
Specializing in black and gray realism, Lou is known for transforming meaningful photos and personal stories into detailed, emotionally powerful tattoos. His approach blends technical precision with genuine connection, ensuring every client feels heard and confident.
